Patchwork Kitchen is a new website for renovating, refurbishing and generally creating a cool kitchen, written by two people who are attempting to do up their own kitchen with a mix of styles, a lack of DIY skills, and a complete lack of budget.
We bought a house, we moved in, and got stuck into renovating until our first child came along. And combining jobs and family meant all our time and energy gotten taken away from finishing the house. Until now. This is the written inspiration that will hopefully see us get back into DIY mode and finally make the kitchen cool.
And if not, then you'll get a laugh when we inevitably glue our fingers to the work surface, cut through the wrong bit of wood, and drop a hammer on our feet.
